After the irreversible split of the United Republic, the region has divided itself into many nations. As time progressed,
some nations have coalesced into distinct alliances. The Astoric Commonwealth is one such union. This coalition boast more
territory than any other and has a wide range of resources, both population and mineral-wise. Nevertheless, we must watch
our borders as the Reichskanzler Confederation gathers on our eastern sectors and the Eurasian Empire wishes to create a new
and powerful trans-continental empire using our precious southern lands.
The Astoric Commonwealth is a force not to be reckoned with. Witht the leadership of Geheimstaat, the largest nation in
the world, the Astoric Commonwealth is the alliance that most closely follows the ideals and practices of the former United
Republic.

As the region solifies after the Wars of Separation in its respective borders, the alliances crystallize. The Reichskanzler
Confederation has emerged with a new leadership nation with substantial technological power.
The world situation is still precarious at this moment. The recently united Eurasian Empire is still suffering from bureaucratic
and social troubles and the Holy Empire of Seville is having employment problems as it took heavy casualties against the present
nations of the Reichskanzler Confederation. Reports say that as many as 15 million men (10% of the population) died against
the Germanic republics.
In domestic news, the Commonwealth Congress convened for the 5th time in its history last week. Promising legislation
includes a promise for a balanced budget, a increase in social welfare, and a continued nationalization of key industries
as the government moves to Democratic Socialism.
